Account and activity information

Firebase Authentication manages your email and password credentials. Topjib stores your name, email, policy acknowledgment and version, communication preferences, saved searches, followed boat identifiers, submitted listing and claim details, and estimates you choose to save in Supabase PostgreSQL. We use this information to provide and maintain your account and requested features.

Public boat and People pages

Seller and dealer contact details and marketplace contact links are hidden from public pages. Inquiries are routed through Topjib. We also use public Texas Parks & Wildlife Department registration records for vessel details and recorded owner associations. These records may be outdated and do not prove current ownership or where a boat is kept. We do not display registry street addresses on People or boat pages. Registry owner associations are separate from marketplace seller identities unless a match is independently supported.

Public and private information

Your account email, saved searches, followed boats, preferences, claim explanations, and saved estimates are private to your account. Seller contact information is used privately to route inquiries. Buyer names, emails, optional phone numbers and messages are shared with Topjib and may be forwarded to the seller for the boat requested.

Service providers and browser storage

We use Google Firebase for authentication, Supabase for account storage, Vercel for hosting, Resend for inquiry and claim emails, and MapTiler for maps. These providers receive information needed to deliver their services, which may include IP addresses and request details. Boat photos may load from third-party hosts. Firebase uses browser storage to keep you signed in on the portal. An unfinished boat listing is also saved on your device so you can enter the details before registering and resume afterward. The draft is removed after a successful submission or when reopened after seven days. We do not enable Firebase Analytics merely because you create an account.

Location

If you allow browser location access, we use your position to filter nearby boats. We do not add your location to public boat or People records. Registry mailing addresses are not treated as physical boat locations.

Communications

Password resets and necessary account, listing, or claim messages are service communications. Optional marketing and product-update preferences start off and can be changed at any time on the Communication Preferences page. Saved-search email alerts are not currently active. Accepting the policies does not opt you into marketing.

Retention, correction, and deletion

We retain information while needed to operate your account and the service, handle disputes, or meet applicable obligations. Contact us to request account deletion, export, or correction, or to flag an inaccurate public record. We may need to confirm your identity or authority before changing an account or boat record. Source records may remain available from their original public providers.

Sharing and security

We do not sell or rent your private account information for marketing. We share information with service providers as needed to operate the site, when you direct us to publish listing information, or when required by law. Account access controls protect private data; no online service can promise absolute security.
